yep pain in da ass.i removed my chrome head pieces and left them off,now ican change plug easily,replaced battery with a larger one 50 bucks at autozone removed tool box latch put tool box cover over end of battery easier to remove and now can hook up charger or volt meter without not having to remove cover even.worse part of design is remove fuel to remove petcock to remove tank. i'd like to know who that idiot was.I WILL modify my petcock too,i'll let you all know how i make out.KIS GIRO
